The flagship design of Prodigal Dynamics' GUARDIAN line of products, the Aegis LMG is meant to be a staple of any good formation. It has a kinetic barrier installed on the weapon, which fires up whenever you pull the trigger, offering just that tiny extra bit of protection to one’s upper chest/head area. It can only withstand a few shots, but that is enough. The Bulwark sports an incredibly high ammo capacity, and fires them off with great vigor.
That being said, it’s heavier, less accurate, and weaker than most other LMGs as a consequence. There are also a lot of moving parts involved, which make cleaning this thing a bitch. Every copy of this weapon has the quote “The Immovable Object” engraved on the side, though there is a special version that is offered to all surviving members of GUARDIAN, at 75% price, on which the engraving reads, “Pain is temporary. Honor is forever.” That version, unlike the other collectors editions for the GUARDIAN line, also comes in a different standard color (blue, grey, and black).
The Bulwark is meant to embody the Aegis; the strong center, the first line of defense, the point of command.
